Hello everyone!
This is the second Pullman tamper I buy; the first one to use with a La Cimbali Junior S1 (unfortunately I selled it, with the tamper, made for the La Cimbali basket), and this one with a Stong Origin (professional machine)
The tamper and synesso basket arrive to me safe, because of the very good shipping; the delivery time is exactely what Greg say (ten day for France!)
This tamper are very beautifull unique well-made object, a piece that you're proud to have and to show to you're friend!
The Reg Barber one (I got one but don't use it since I got the Pullman) look delicate near to it, relegate to a position of a toy!
I have used the first Pullman tamper with the La Cimbali for about one year, in a home environment, and after learning to use it (training) it do it job very well, allow you to tamp at the pressure you want and avoid the problem of channeling
The only one advice I can give is to provide you're own basket or to buy the Synesso one (like I do for this second time order) as the Pullman tamper, unlike almost all others tampers, are made to measure.
But it's a quality, for the perfectionists (like me!), for having a tamper in a perfect match with your basket
