We start with a specially undersized anodised aluminium handle (so the outside dimensions are back to the right size once the leather's wrapped around it); then our custom leather trimming partners hand-cut and hand-stitch a leather sleeve to your specifications around your handle. The result is an exquisite hand-crafted tool you'll never grow out of!

The Pullman Barista tamper was primarily designed for use with an anodized aluminium handle and in this combination will provide a balanced tamper. Each Leather Barista handle is wrapped over a specially undersized anodised aluminium Barista handle so there's strength and balance beneath the luxury. Compare the features of the different Barista handles.
Note:
- Tamper handles and tamper bases are sold separately. While they can be purchased separately if necessary, you require both a base and a handle for a complete tamper.
- Bases and handles from the Nexus and Barista range are not interchangeable. If you are purchasing a Barista handle you must also purchase a Barista base for a complete Barista tamper. See the range of Barista bases available for purchase.
- Like all leather, the leather on these handles needs to be treated with care so we DO NOT recommend using these in commercial environments, it should not be directly exposed to water or other liquids, and should be treated with a leather conditioner periodically.
- Production of a leather handle may add two to three weeks to your order
